Happy New Year!
As we enter this new year, it's crucial for everyone to stick to their New Year's resolutions. Exercising more, eating more vegetables, and taking more vacations are all excellent ideas. However, let's not overlook our teeth!
Here are some New Year's resolutions for a healthier mouth and a brighter smile:
1. Brushing and flossing DAILY!
This is the most common resolution that we often abandon by February
Brushing twice a day and flossing at night will greatly benefit your oral health, improve your breath, clean your mouth, and give you a whiter smile!
Stay committed and you'll see the results - and so will everyone around you!
2. Reduce sugary foods and drinks
As we all know, sugar can cause cavities
Reducing candies, sodas, and that extra piece of chocolate cake will significantly lower your risk of cavities
3. Cut down on smoking
Smoking harms the gums and jawbone and increases your risk of oral cancer
We know quitting isn't easy - try reducing your smoking by one cigarette per month!
4. Enhance your smile
For more aesthetic goals, consult your dentist about improving your smile
Perhaps it's time for Zoom Teeth Whitening, or you're interested in straightening your teeth with Invisalign!
Good luck with all your resolutions! We hope this is your best year yet!
