No Braces, No Surgery: Early Underbite Correction Made Simple with the Myobrace P Series

When more of our patient's baby teeth started falling out around age 7, his parents begin to notice changes in his smile. In this case, it was a growing underbite. Along with the underbite, they noticed subtle signs like open-mouth breathing (dry, chapped lips, dry mouth), and night time teeth grinding. Naturally, they came to us asking: “Is there anything we can actually do right now, or do we have to wait until all his baby teeth fall out?”

The good news? Early intervention makes all the difference.

By using the Myobrace P series of appliances, we addressed the root causes like mouth breathing and poor tongue posture, all while the child’s jaw was still growing naturally. This approach helps guide jaw development early on, setting the stage for a healthy, aligned smile without waiting for major surgery or traditional braces down the road.
