Joining Our Newest Dental Society

This past evening, we joined the San Mateo County Dental Society for the very first general meeting. After meeting some familiar faces and many, many new faces, we are excited to join this group of superstar dentists!

Our continuing education course tonight was on osteoradrionecrosis and jaw reconstruction - a hugely important topic for patients undergoing treatment for oral cancer and bone destruction. You never know when these cases will walk into your office, so it is critical to keep up-to-date on modern medicine in order to better serve our diverse community!

Dental societies are optional to attend, but they remain an excellent way to stay current on issues and advancements in our field. Our members have anywhere from a few months to over four decades of dentistry wisdom in the books - an amazing resource to have!
